Welcome to Gold Creek Station!

We are your place in the mountains!

Originally founded by J.W. Anderson in 1913 as a waypoint and trading post for trappers, gold seekers, and early settlers, Gold Creek Station is an iconic destination in Central Washington State. Located on the Chinook Scenic Byway approximately 29 miles east of Chinook Pass, we are right in the middle of one of the most beautiful drives in the United States. With our “Grandma’s Kitchen” style restaurant, big beautiful Saloon, full service Grocery Store, laundromat, and overnight rentals, Gold Creek Station is the perfect base camp. We’re also an excellent stop for hunters, hikers, campers, and all manner of travelers. Dine by our waterfall, relax with a beer on our “old town” patio, dance the night away to weekend LIVE MUSIC, view deer, chipmunks and songbirds and walk amongst huge seasonal flower baskets. Most of all, enjoy the peace, serenity, charm and slow pace of the Eastern Cascade Mountains. (You’ll love our locals too!) We get to live where others take vacations, come see why they say:

It’s just better here.

Reservations are strongly recommended. Please call 509.658.2583 and we’ll be happy to save a place for you.
